Recall of Acura RLX 2014 Due to Shaky Bolts
It is not the first time Acura experiences problems with bolts. MDX faced a recall caused by loose propshaft bolts, now the bolts of the rear suspension of RLX are destined to repeat the fate of predecessor.
Honda informs that a total of eight bolts holding some parts of rear-suspension together might become shaky with time and fall out afterwards. In such a case the alignment of the car’s rear suspension can be faulted leading to the increased possibility of accidents if the vehicle is moving.
The problem has been revealed in nearly 7,751 items. Honda will notify its North American customers about the start of the recall planned for January, and the bolts will be changed for free.
