Audi Nanuk and Quattro Being Considered

Audi has uncovered a next-gen Quattro model, but this time around we might actually see it head to production.

According to the director of the German company’s UK arm, Audi will release a series of top-end cars based on recent concepts such as the Audi Quattro and even the mighty Nanuk. “Every concept we present has production viabilities, and these vehicles are no different,” informed André Konsbruck regarding the Nanuk and Quattro models.

Though neither car has been approved for actual production, both have production possibility according to Konsbruck and are undergoing client examination and internal evaluation to see if there’s a valid business case for both models.

Konsbruck informs that those cars are for niche markets only and will push the pricing ceiling on the brand upwards, but will also boost the brand’s image in addition to constructing the desirability of Audi as a whole.

“However popular they are, we cannot just construct Audi A3s, that’s for sure,” Konsbruck said. “Audi has always done unique projects to drive its premium image, and vehicles like the Quattro and Nanuk could reach that.”
