2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost Rated 32/45 MPG

The 2014 Ford Fiesta fitted with a 1.0-liter EcoBoost motor has been estimated at 32 MPG in the city and 45 MPG on the highway.

Though strict specifications on the 1.0-liter motor have yet to be revealed, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost Fiesta did receive its fuel efficiency digits posted by the EPA on its website. In comparison to other 3-cylinder rivals on the market, the Fiesta 1.0-liter EcoBoost has better fuel efficiency on the highway, but is beaten by the Mitsubishi Mirage (37 MPG city) and the Smart Fortwo (34 MPG city).

The 1.0-liter EcoBoost powerplant is optional for Fiesta customers for $985 and is only offered on the SE trim fitted with a manual transmission. The package also arrives with 15-inch steel wheels, regenerative brakes and a decklid spoiler for the sedan version.

The 2014 Fiesta fitted with the 1.0-liter EcoBoost kicks off from $17,230 for the sedan while the hatchback costs $17,830. Both prices feature a $785 destination fee.
