Volkswagen upgrades IQ.DRIVE ADAS suite for 2027 models

Volkswagen has rolled out a major update to its IQ.DRIVE driver assistance suite for 2027 vehicles, introducing automated lane changes initiated by a tap of the turn signal above 72 km/h. The package also adds Emergency Assist Plus with autonomous shoulder pullover capabilities and active rear pedestrian emergency braking. Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control gains smoother highway exit and speed-limit handling, while maintaining Level 2 supervised operation.
