Volkswagen Mission Efficiency Concept With 0.158 Drag Coefficient

Volkswagen has developed the Mission Efficiency, an ultra-streamlined electric 2+2 coupe featuring a record drag coefficient of 0.158 and teardrop body styling inspired by the XL1. Under the aerodynamic body sits a 135-hp electric motor paired with a 54.9-kWh battery, covered rear wheels, active front air flaps, and 370-watt solar roof panels. Inside, the minimalist cabin focuses on weight reduction with recycled composites, mobile device mounts in place of fixed screens, and a portable speaker.
