The high-performance Land Rover Defender OCTA is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter BMW V8 engine, delivering up to 626 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque in its peak configuration. Depending on regional emissions tuning, the mild-hybrid powertrain can also be configured with 533 horsepower, enabling a 0-62 mph sprint in 4.4 seconds. To match its aggressive character, engineers have also reworked the exhaust system to produce a deeper and meaner sound.
