Next-generation Honda Hybrid prototype and platform preview

Honda has showcased its upcoming hybrid architecture using a Civic study prototype powered by an updated 2.0-liter engine and two electric motors. The setup rides on a lighter, stiffer platform that incorporates a newly developed electric all-wheel-drive system and Motion Management dynamics control. Engineers made the drive unit more compact and expanded the internal combustion engine's most efficient operating range.
