McLaren McL 6GT Concept: Stick-Shift V8 Hypercar Previewed

McLaren has revealed the McL 6GT Concept, previewing a lightweight carbon-fiber hypercar slated for 2028 with a mid-mounted V8 engine and rear-wheel drive. Most notably, it features a six-speed manual transmission with an exposed titanium linkage, marking the brand's first stick-shift model since the fabled F1. The retro-inspired styling pays homage to the 1960s M6GT Can-Am project, complemented by hydraulic steering and a driver-focused analog cockpit.
