Hongqi EHS7 Prototype Debuts with Solar Roof Technology

Hongqi has revealed an experimental EHS7 electric crossover equipped with a photovoltaic panoramic roof. The integrated solar cells generate clean power for auxiliary systems like climate control, the onboard refrigerator, and alarms, reducing strain on the main traction battery. Expanding panels to the hood and body could yield up to 10 kWh daily, adding around 80 km of electric driving range.
