Honda TrailSport Lineup Expands Mechanical Off-Road Upgrades

Honda is shifting its TrailSport lineup from visual packages to real off-road hardware, starting with the 2027 Passport TrailSport and its revised suspension delivering 9.85 inches of ground clearance. Future 2028 CR-V and Ridgeline models will adopt dedicated trail hardware alongside a new V-6 hybrid system designed for precise low-speed torque control. In addition, Honda Racing Corporation is introducing forged 18-inch wheels and high-clearance stainless-steel exhaust systems for off-road builds.
