Fresh Update: 2027 Rivian R1S and R1T Gain Captain's Chairs and Simpler Trims

Rivian has revamped the 2027 R1S and R1T lineups with streamlined trim structures and a brand-new six-seat configuration featuring luxurious second-row captain's chairs for the SUV. Powertrain choices range from a 533-hp dual-motor setup up to a 1,025-hp quad-motor flagship capable of up to 420 miles of range. The update also brings a fresh Esker Silver paint option, revised interior themes, and the return of the dedicated All-Terrain package.
