Wuling Hongguang I (CN112) gallery (2010–2018)

The inaugural Wuling Hongguang compact MPV launched in 2010, establishing a solid foundation for one of the most successful vehicle platforms worldwide.

Launched in September 2010, the first-generation Wuling Hongguang compact MPV was engineered by SAIC-GM-Wuling on a durable front-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform. The five-door body shell was designed to accommodate versatile seating arrangements for five to eight passengers or substantial cargo volume. Powering the model are 1.2-liter and 1.5-liter S-TEC four-cylinder petrol engines outputting between 84 and 107 horsepower. Drive is sent to the rear axle through a five-speed manual transmission. In 2013, the facelifted Hongguang S variant introduced updated exterior styling and a modernized interior layout. The functional cabin features durable upholstery, dual-zone heating, power front windows, manual air conditioning, and a basic audio system. In addition to high-volume manufacturing in China, the first-generation model was built and sold in India under the Chevrolet Enjoy brand name across developing markets.
