The Wuling Hongguang V is a compact commercial MPV and panel van equipped with dual sliding rear side doors manufactured by SGMW in China since January 2015.
The Wuling Hongguang V compact commercial vehicle debuted in January 2015 originally badged as the Wuling Rongguang V before being integrated into the Hongguang product line in 2019. The defining architectural feature of the model is its dual sliding rear side doors, replacing conventional hinged doors to facilitate passenger ingress and cargo loading in tight urban spaces. Built on a rear-wheel-drive platform featuring a longitudinally mounted engine and leaf spring rear suspension for heavy hauling, the powertrain selection comprises 1.2-liter (76-82 hp) and 1.5-liter L2B (99-105 hp, 140 Nm) naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engines mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is offered as a two-seat panel van with a flat load floor for cargo transport, as well as passenger versions configured with five, seven, or eight seats. Equipment features electric power steering, manual air conditioning, power front windows, anti-lock braking system ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution EBD, and durable cabin upholstery built for daily commercial use.
