Wuling Air EV I (E230) gallery (2022–present)

The compact global electric vehicle Wuling Air EV launched in 2022, marking a major strategic milestone as the brand expanded heavily into Southeast Asia.

Engineered as a premier global urban vehicle, the first generation of the Air EV is built on SGMW's Global Small Electric Vehicle platform. The model features a futuristic three-door hatchback body offered in standard two-seat or expanded four-seat cabin layouts. Propulsion is delivered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing either 41 or 68 horsepower directed to the rear wheels. A lithium iron phosphate battery pack with energy capacity of 17.3 kWh or 26.7 kWh works alongside a single-speed reduction gear transmission. Top speed is rated at 100 kilometers per hour, while the certified driving range spans between 200 and 300 kilometers per charge. The modern interior stands out with a dual-screen display setup housing twin 10.25-inch digital gauge and infotainment monitors. Standard safety and convenience features include electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake, 360-degree cameras, and voice recognition. The vehicle is produced in China and locally assembled in Indonesia for worldwide exports.
