The second-generation Volvo V90 debuted at the March 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Built on the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), it is produced as a 5-door wagon alongside the all-road V90 Cross Country featuring increased ground clearance. It boasts Thor's Hammer headlights, sophisticated interior craftsmanship, and Pilot Assist semi-autonomous driving features.
Engine options rely on 2.0-liter Drive-E engines, including T5/T6 petrols, D4/D5 diesels, T8 Recharge plug-in hybrids, and B-series mild-hybrids. A 2020 update refreshed the front fog lights, rear spoiler, taillight LEDs, and Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
