VAZ Lada Largus I gallery (2012–present)

The Lada Largus was introduced in 2012 as a localized and reinforced version of the first-generation Dacia Logan MCV tailored for the Russian and CIS markets. The vehicle is engineered on the robust and highly durable B0 platform, featuring a reinforced subframe, increased ground clearance, and an upgraded suspension setup designed for rough road conditions. The model range includes a versatile station wagon available in five-passenger and seven-passenger configurations, as well as a specialized two-seat commercial panel van, a rugged Largus Cross variant with body cladding, and a dual-fuel CNG version running on natural gas. Initially, the car was equipped with Renault 1.6-liter 8-valve and 16-valve petrol engines (K7M and K4M) paired with 5-speed manual gearboxes (JH3/JR5). Over the production cycle, these powertrains were replaced with proprietary Russian engines, including the VAZ-11189, VAZ-21129, and the modern 8-valve VAZ-11182 generating between 87 and 106 hp. In 2021, the Largus underwent a major mid-cycle facelift that brought the signature Lada X-style front-end design, revised headlights, a completely redesigned dashboard derived from the first-generation Renault Duster, improved acoustic insulation, and modern infotainment features. In 2024, vehicle assembly was relocated to the enterprise plant in Izhevsk, which also marked the introduction of the serial all-electric e-Largus variant powered by an electric traction motor and localized battery packs. The vehicle remains a benchmark workhorse throughout Russia and neighboring countries.
