The Cascada featured a structurally reinforced open-top body and a sophisticated multi-layer acoustic fabric roof that could be opened or closed in 17 seconds at vehicle speeds up to 31 mph. Powertrain offerings included a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 140 hp, a direct-injection 1.6-litre SIDI Turbo producing 170 hp or 200 hp, alongside a 2.0-litre CDTi diesel with 165 hp and a potent 2.0-litre BiTurbo CDTi delivering 195 hp.
