SsangYong Torres is a mid-size crossover with rugged off-road styling built on an upgraded platform derived from the Korando model, named after Torres del Paine National Park. The vehicle features a bold, utilitarian exterior design reminiscent of classic adventure SUVs, paired with a high-tech interior cabin and spacious cargo capacity. Under the hood, it utilizes a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 170 horsepower, coupled with a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission, alongside liquefied petroleum gas options and the purely electric Torres EVX variant. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are available to suit various driving conditions. Following the corporate transition to KG Mobility, the vehicle successfully transitioned to the KGM brand while retaining its core identity and expanding its footprint worldwide.
