The second generation of the minivan, known in some markets as the SsangYong Stavic, was released in 2013 with a thoroughly redesigned front end that made its appearance much more conventional and harmonious compared to its predecessor. The vehicle retained its robust ladder-frame architecture, providing high structural rigidity and excellent towing capacity. The main powertrain was a modern 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine developed in-house by SsangYong, while certain markets also received a 3.2-liter gasoline engine option. Transmission choices included a six-speed manual and five- or seven-speed automatic gearboxes supplied by Mercedes-Benz and E-Tronic. In 2018, the model underwent a major facelift that updated the grille, lighting units, and dashboard architecture, bringing the interior closer to modern passenger standards. The vehicle was marketed in South Korea, Europe, Australia, and various Latin American countries, remaining popular among large families and commercial fleet operators.
