The first and only generation of the SsangYong Family frame-based SUV, built under license from the Isuzu Trooper. The vehicle was produced in a five-door off-road body style and was equipped with diesel and gasoline engines ranging from 2.2 to 2.6 liters, paired with manual or automatic transmissions. The model featured a robust ladder frame construction, part-time four-wheel drive, and a utilitarian yet durable interior. Throughout its production run, the vehicle underwent several minor updates affecting the front fascia and available equipment options. Its primary market was South Korea, alongside select export markets in Asia and the CIS, where it gained a reputation for endurance and off-road capability.
