About this generation

The first production SUV in the brand's history.

Built on the MQB modular platform, the Ateca offered a combination of Spanish design and German engineering. The SUV received a wide range of TSI and TDI turbo engines, as well as 4Drive all-wheel-drive systems. The model quickly became a bestseller thanks to its practicality and driver-focused chassis tuning.
