Scion xB II (E150) gallery (2007–2015)

The second-generation Scion xB debuted in 2007 for the 2008 model year, marking a comprehensive departure from its lightweight predecessor. Transitioning to Toyota's larger New MC platform (E150 generation) shared with the Japanese Toyota Corolla Rumion, the xB grew substantially in length, width, and curb weight. Under the hood, the previous small engine was replaced by a robust 2.4-liter 2AZ-FE inline-four engine producing 158 horsepower, paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission with sequential sport shifting. The exterior evolved from strict sharp angles toward softer, more rounded contours while preserving the hallmark high-roof silhouette. In 2010, Scion unveiled a mid-cycle facelift for the 2011 model year, introducing redesigned front and rear bumpers, enlarged honeycomb grille openings, updated headlights, and an overhauled center console with upgraded seating materials. Production ended in December 2015.
