The NIO ET5 compact executive EV is available as a sedan and ET5T station wagon, offering a 487-horsepower all-wheel drive powertrain, sporty five-link suspension, and the PanoCinema digital cockpit.
Launched in 2022 on the NT 2.0 architecture, the NIO ET5 compact executive electric vehicle is offered as a four-door sedan and, since 2023, as the ET5T Touring five-door station wagon. The exterior features a sporty fastback profile with slim LED lighting and clean body surfacing. Drive is generated by a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup consisting of a 204-horsepower front induction motor and a 286-horsepower rear permanent magnet motor, producing a total output of 487 horsepower and 700 Newton-meters of torque. Power is distributed through single-speed reduction gearboxes, while five-link front and rear suspension setups provide agile handling dynamics. Energy is stored in 75 kWh, 100 kWh, or 150 kWh battery packs engineered for fast robotic battery swapping. The interior incorporates the PanoCinema digital cabin experience compatible with AR glasses, a 12.8-inch vertical AMOLED screen, concealed air vents, a 23-speaker sound system, and the Aquila super-sensing suite powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Orin X chips with ultra-long-range LiDAR technology. The vehicle is distributed in China and European countries.
