The NIO ES7 mid-size crossover on the NT 2.0 platform features a 653-horsepower AWD powertrain, adaptive air suspension, an optional towing hitch, and an eco-friendly luxury interior.

The NIO ES7 five-seat mid-size luxury crossover SUV has been in production since 2022, constructed on the second-generation NT 2.0 platform. The exterior styling follows NIO's Design for AD philosophy, combining a distinctive X-Bar front fascia with streamlined body proportions. Drive is generated by a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with a 245-horsepower front permanent magnet motor and a 408-horsepower rear induction motor, producing a total output of 653 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters of torque for a zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. Power is metered through single-speed reduction gears paired with adaptive air suspension featuring continuous damping control. It was among the first passenger EVs certified in China to offer a factory-installed power tow hitch capable of hauling up to 2,000 kg. Power sources include 75 kWh, 100 kWh, and 150 kWh battery options supporting robotic battery swapping. The interior incorporates Karuun rattan trim, a 12.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen, Dolby Atmos audio, and the Aquila LiDAR driver assist suite. In Europe, it is marketed as the EL7.
