Moskvich М70 I gallery (2026–present)
First generation of the Moskvich M70 crossover, produced since 2026 with two turbocharged petrol engines.
The first generation of the Moskvich M70 crossover entered the market in March 2026, followed by an official public showcase at the Innoprom industrial trade fair. Based on the mechanical underpinnings of the Chinese-British MG HS, the vehicle is manufactured as a five-door unibody SUV featuring modern exterior styling, full LED lighting, and an ergonomically designed interior. Compared to historic passenger models from the plant, the M70 brings contemporary safety, digital interfaces, and modern chassis engineering to the brand.
The powertrain range for the first generation consists of two turbocharged petrol engines: an entry-level 1.5-liter unit producing 150 horsepower and a more potent 2.0-liter engine rated at 200 horsepower. At launch, the crossover comes exclusively in front-wheel-drive configuration, while an all-wheel-drive version undergoes active road testing. Initial production is based on semi-knocked-down assembly kits, with ongoing steps toward full-cycle localized manufacturing.
