The Mitsubishi 3000GT (Z11A, Z15A, and Z16A chassis designations) launched in 1990 as a flagship sports car offered as a coupe and Spyder retractable-hardtop convertible. Rebadged in North America as the Dodge Stealth. Engineering of the 3000GT I (Z16A) (factory code Z16A) emphasized high structural rigidity, aerodynamic efficiency, and optimized interior spatial packaging.
