The R52 offered fans of the brand the chance to enjoy open-air driving. The folding roof mechanism was well-thought-out, and the unique tailgate in the style of a pickup added individuality to the model. Despite the folding roof, the car retained the body rigidity necessary for active, MINI-style driving.
