The second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class (chassis code X254) debuted in June 2022, followed by the GLC Coupe (C254) in 2023. Built on the updated MRA2 platform, the X254 features increased length, enhanced cargo capacity, class-leading aerodynamics (Cd 0.29), and optional 4.5-degree rear-axle steering. The interior reflects the latest C-Class cabin layout with a portrait-oriented 11.9-inch center touchscreen running MBUX software.

Every engine variant is electrified: 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines utilize 48V integrated starter-generator (ISG) mild-hybrid tech, while plug-in hybrid models (GLC 300 e, GLC 400 e, GLC 300 de) feature a 31.2 kWh battery giving over 100 km of electric range. All variants pair with 9G-TRONIC automatics and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Performance AMG versions (GLC 43 and GLC 63 S E Performance) adopt advanced four-cylinder hybrid systems.
