Introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show to mark the market launch of the X156 compact crossover, the Edition 1 was available to order for approximately one year. Based on the Urban equipment line, it features the Night Package, bi-xenon headlights, and black 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. The interior is trimmed in nut brown leather and fabric with light longitudinal-grain aluminum trim and a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and could be paired with any engine in the standard lineup.
