The Grand Edition for the first-generation Mercedes-Benz GL-Class (X164) was introduced in May 2011 near the end of its production run. Exterior features include two-tone 20-inch light-alloy wheels, darkened headlamps, a redesigned radiator grille with black louvres, and Grand Edition badging. Inside, the SUV is equipped with two-tone leather upholstery (black with porcelain or maroon), black ash wood trim, and brushed stainless steel sports pedals.
