First generation of the all-electric compact MPV Mercedes-Benz EQT (W420), introduced in 2023 as part of the electric van family.
The Mercedes-Benz EQT (body code W420) debuted in 2023 as the zero-emission electric counterpart to the T-Class compact passenger MPV. Built on the joint CMF-C/D platform, the EQT incorporates Mercedes-EQ design elements such as the glossy Black Panel front grille enclosure and unique aerodynamic wheel designs. It retains high practical utility with dual sliding doors, a low loading sill, and flexible seating arrangements for family and leisure use.
Power comes from a single front-mounted electric motor producing 122 hp (90 kW) and 245 Nm of torque. A 45 kWh usable lithium-ion battery pack yields a WLTP driving range of up to 280 km. The vehicle supports 22 kW AC onboard charging and up to 80 kW DC fast charging. In 2024, Mercedes-Benz expanded the lineup with a long-wheelbase version capable of accommodating seven passengers.
