Mercedes-Benz EQB I (X243) gallery (2021–present)
First generation of the compact seven-seat electric SUV Mercedes-Benz EQB (X243), built on the GLB architecture and launched in 2021.
The Mercedes-Benz EQB (chassis code X243) debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2021 as a fully electric compact crossover. Derived from the internal combustion GLB (X247) on the MFA2 platform, the EQB stands out by retaining the optional three-row, seven-seat configuration in a highly versatile compact body package.
Visual highlights include the EQ signature Black Panel front fascia and continuous LED brake lamp bar. Powertrain options feature single-motor front-wheel drive (EQB 250 with 190 hp) and dual-motor 4MATIC all-wheel-drive configurations (EQB 300 with 228 hp and EQB 350 with 292 hp). Equipped with a 66.5 kWh battery pack, it yields a WLTP range up to 452 km. A 2023 update brought restyled grille panels and improved MBUX software.
