Mercedes-Benz EQA I (H243) gallery (2021–present)

First generation of the compact all-electric crossover Mercedes-Benz EQA (H243) derived from the GLA platform, produced since 2021.

The Mercedes-Benz EQA (chassis code H243) premiered virtually in January 2021 as the entry-level battery-electric crossover within the Mercedes-EQ sub-brand. Built on an adapted version of the MFA2 platform, it shares its main body shell with the GLA (H247) while adopting EQ-specific design cues such as the signature Black Panel front grille panel and continuous rear light strip.

Model variants include the front-wheel-drive EQA 250 (190 hp) and dual-motor all-wheel-drive EQA 300 4MATIC (228 hp) and EQA 350 4MATIC (292 hp). Usable battery capacities of 66.5 kWh to 70.5 kWh (EQA 250+) grant a driving range up to 500 km (WLTP). A mid-2023 update introduced a starry star-pattern front panel design, improved energy efficiency, and updated MBUX software.
