The Lynk & Co 08 mid-size crossover (factory code DX11) entered production in autumn 2023, initiating the brand's design and technological refresh. It represents the first model built on the updated CMA Evo platform, specifically tailored for electrified powertrains. The exterior adopts the brand's revised visual signature derived from the The Next Day concept, featuring vertical DRL light strips, frameless side mirrors, flush door handles, and a continuous rear light bar. Dimensions measure 4,820 mm long, 1,915 mm wide, and 1,685 mm high with a 2,848 mm wheelbase. The 08 EM-P plug-in hybrid lineup includes front-wheel drive (381 hp) and dual-motor all-wheel drive (593 hp and 905 Nm) variants utilizing a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a 3-speed DHT Evo transmission. Battery capacities ranging from 21.2 kWh to 39.8 kWh allow pure electric range between 120 km and 245 km, pushing total combined range up to 1,400 km. Inside, the modern cabin includes a 15.4-inch Flyme Auto touchscreen, a massive 92-inch AR-HUD projection display, ambient lighting, ventilated and massaging seats, and a 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The 08 establishes a new benchmark for high-performance plug-in hybrid SUVs. High-strength steel and aluminum alloys are extensively utilized throughout the chassis structure to enhance passenger safety.
