The Lynk & Co 02 was a compact sporty crossover-hatchback built on the CMA platform, featuring turbocharged engines and plug-in hybrid variants.
The Lynk & Co 02 compact crossover hatchback (internal code CC11) was launched in 2018 as the brand's second production vehicle. Utilizing the shared CMA modular platform, the 02 featured a lower stance, wider track, and more aggressive proportions compared to the larger 01 crossover. Its sporty styling was characterized by a sloping roofline, contrasting roof paint schemes, signature split headlights, and twin exhaust outlets. Power came from a lineup of 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engines generating 156 to 180 horsepower, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo delivering 190 horsepower, and a plug-in hybrid 02 PHEV variant. Gearbox choices included a 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch, and an 8-speed automatic for all-wheel-drive configurations. A dedicated front-wheel-drive 02 Hatchback performance model was later introduced, powered by a 254 hp 2.0-liter engine. The interior featured a driver-focused cockpit with digital instrumentation, integrated sports seats, smartphone connectivity, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and comprehensive safety assistance systems including lane keep assist and emergency braking. Production of the first-generation CC11 series ran through 2023 before transitioning to next-generation electric replacements.
