Lynk & Co 01 I (GX6) gallery (2017–present)
The Lynk & Co 01 compact SUV was the brand's debut model built on the shared CMA platform with Volvo, featuring petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The Lynk & Co 01 compact crossover SUV represents the foundational vehicle of the joint Geely and Volvo brand, designed from the outset for global distribution. Underpinned by the co-developed Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) shared with the Volvo XC40, the 01 established the signature design identity for Lynk & Co. Exterior styling features high-mounted vertical daytime running lights, a full-width front grille, and Energy Cube LED taillights. Engine options include a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Drive-E petrol unit producing between 190 and 254 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with available all-wheel drive, as well as HEV and PHEV hybrid setups pairing a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A comprehensive mid-cycle facelift updated the front fascia and introduced an upgraded interior with a larger digital infotainment display, improved software responsiveness, and enhanced ADAS safety features. The cabin offers ergonomic sports seating, advanced connectivity, and Volvo-derived active safety tech. The model achieved significant success in China and Europe through direct sales and innovative subscription access models. High-strength steel and aluminum alloys are extensively utilized throughout the chassis structure to enhance passenger safety.
