Lotus 3-Eleven I (Type 129) gallery (2016–2018)

Introduced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Lotus 3-Eleven was produced in a strictly limited run of 311 units between 2016 and 2018. Designed as the quickest and most powerful road car built by Lotus up to that point, it utilized an evolution of the extruded and bonded aluminum chassis mated to an integrated roll cage. The minimalist bodywork was fabricated from lightweight resin-infused carbon composite panels, completely devoid of roof, doors, and a conventional windshield. The powertrain consisted of a mid-mounted 3.5-liter supercharged Toyota 2GR-FE V6 engine equipped with an Edelbrock supercharger. The road-oriented version produced 410 hp (416 PS) and was paired with a six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The track-only Race variant generated 460 hp and featured an Xtrac six-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters, full aerodynamic rear wing, and upgraded AP Racing four-piston brakes. In 2018, Lotus released the ultimate evolution, the 3-Eleven 430, utilizing the 430 hp calibration from the Exige Cup 430, generating higher downforce and delivering a top speed of 290 km/h for European, Japanese, and international sports car enthusiasts.
