Second generation of the flagship full-size extended-range crossover featuring a 72.2 kWh battery, rear-wheel steering, and an updated digital cabin.
The second-generation Li Auto L9 debuted for the 2026 model year, retaining its five-door full-size luxury SUV footprint with a six-seat (2+2+2) interior arrangement. Compared to its predecessor, dimensions grew to 5,255 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with an elongated 3,125 mm wheelbase. Significant chassis upgrades include an active suspension with independent wheel adjustment, four-wheel steering with an agile rear-axle steering system, and drive-by-wire steering and braking technologies, supported by autonomous driving hardware rated at up to 2,650 TOPS.
The series-hybrid powertrain underwent comprehensive improvements: dual electric motors now deliver a combined 571 hp, while the traction battery capacity expanded to 72.2 kWh, enabling an all-electric driving range of up to 350 km. With the 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender operating, total combined range extends up to 1,370 km. Inside the cabin, conventional instrument clusters are completely replaced by a high-definition head-up display, complemented by a 29.8-inch primary central display and a 33-speaker surround sound system. International export specifications include a standard CCS2 DC fast-charging interface.
