First generation Li Auto i9 debuted in September 2026 featuring a dual-motor 536 hp AWD powertrain, 101 kWh battery, and 5C ultra-fast charging.
The first generation of the Li Auto i9 was introduced in September 2026 as a full-size six-seater electric crossover. Measuring 5,225 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,752 mm in height with a 3,168 mm wheelbase, the vehicle features an aerodynamic mono-volume body profile achieving an exceptionally low drag coefficient of 0.215. Maneuverability is enhanced by an electronic steer-by-wire system and active rear-wheel steering, achieving a turning radius of only 10.6 meters.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain generates a combined 536 hp and 660 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. A 101 kWh traction battery provides an operating range of up to 705 km on the CLTC cycle and supports 5C ultra-fast charging, recovering 500 km of range in ten minutes. Computing for the autonomous driving suite is handled by dual M100 processors delivering 1,280 TOPS alongside four LiDAR sensors. The interior features rotatable and fully reclining second-row lounge seats, an integrated refrigerator, and a ceiling-mounted 21-inch 4K multimedia display.
