Launched in early 2005 as a 2006 model, the Lincoln Mark LT was designed to replace the short-lived Blackwood and compete directly with the Cadillac Escalade EXT. Derived from the eleventh-generation Ford F-150, the Mark LT came exclusively in a four-door SuperCrew cab configuration with either a 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot bed. Distinctive styling elements included a chrome Lincoln waterfall grille, chrome exterior body-side cladding, and signature multi-spoke wheels. Inside, the cabin featured high-grade leather upholstery, upgraded carpeting, and enhanced acoustic dampening. Power came from a 5.4-liter 3-valve Triton V8 engine rated at 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, mated to a heavy-duty four-speed automatic transmission. Both rear-wheel drive and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive configurations were available. Due to slowing sales, Lincoln discontinued the Mark LT in the US and Canada after 2008.
