Lexus has unveiled the updated 2027 NX crossover, eliminating the gas-only variant to offer an exclusively hybrid and plug-in hybrid lineup across four trims. The refreshed model brings more powerful electrified drivetrains producing up to 324 horsepower, sharper exterior styling, and a standard 14.0-inch touchscreen.

Lexus has introduced a comprehensive mid-cycle refresh for the NX crossover, showcasing a frameless spindle grille, revised lighting, and a thoroughly redesigned cabin. The updated interior adds a 14.0-inch central touchscreen, a more compact steering wheel, and a lowered seating position for better driving dynamics. Underneath, sixth-generation hybrid tech brings a larger 23.0-kWh battery to the plug-in NX 450h+, boosting its pure electric range to 62 miles alongside substantial chassis rigidity improvements.

A high-end Lexus minivan, not officially available in the US market, has been spotted sporting California license plates, raising questions about its arrival.
