The second-generation Lexus GX 460 luxury SUV (chassis code J150) debuted at the Guangzhou International Aviation Exhibition in November 2009 for the 2010 model year. Built on the Land Cruiser Prado 150 chassis, it offered power-folding third-row seating, 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio, Multi-Terrain Monitor cameras, Crawl Control, and KDSS suspension as standard.

Under the hood sat a 4.6-liter 1UR-FE V8 engine delivering 301 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4WD with a Torsen limited-slip differential. The J150 received two major facelifts: the 2013 update added the signature spindle grille and LED headlights, while the 2019 refresh introduced triple-beam LED headlamps, a textured grille pattern, dynamic safety suite, and off-road package.
