The first-generation Leapmotor D19 is a full-size luxury crossover SUV introduced in 2026 as the flagship model of the manufacturer's product portfolio. Built upon the architecture of the LEAP 3.5 platform, the vehicle features a commanding five-door SUV body with a extended wheelbase and executive styling. Drivetrain offerings comprise battery electric (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (EREV) configurations. The pure electric version incorporates an advanced tri-motor all-wheel-drive system generating a combined 533 kW (724 hp), energized by a 115 kWh CATL Freevoy battery pack with ultra-fast charging capabilities. The EREV model pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline range-extender supplied by Horse Powertrain with a dual-motor AWD system. Power transfer across all setups uses single-speed reduction gear transmissions. The cabin focuses on high-end luxury, highlighting a 17.3-inch main infotainment display, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, rear passenger screens, and an onboard oxygen generator. Standard and optional luxury equipment includes adaptive air suspension, LiDAR-driven autonomous driving features, multi-zone climate control, and executive massaging seats. The D19 is manufactured in China for domestic and select international luxury segments.
