Designed as a core global model, the first-generation Leapmotor B10 is a compact crossover SUV available in both battery electric and range-extended hybrid powertrain configurations.
The first-generation Leapmotor B10 is a compact crossover SUV introduced globally in 2024 with full production commencing in 2025. Co-developed under the strategic alliance with Stellantis, the B10 is constructed on the LEAP 3.5 architecture featuring a five-door SUV body with chassis tuning refined by European engineers. The vehicle is produced in two distinct drivetrain layouts: a battery electric vehicle (BEV) and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). Both powertrains employ a rear-mounted 160 kW (218 hp) electric motor driving the rear wheels through a single-speed transmission, while the EREV variant integrates a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that functions purely as a generator. Battery configurations range from 18.8 kWh for EREV models to 67.1 kWh for pure electric models, allowing total range capability of up to 900 km under WLTP standards. Interior features include a 14.6-inch infotainment system powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processing chips, a digital gauge cluster, and customizable ambient lighting. Advanced equipment includes LiDAR-assisted driving modules, 360-degree cameras, panoramic glass ceiling, and intelligent climate control. Production takes place across assembly facilities in China, Spain, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
