The first-generation Leapmotor B01 is a compact electric sedan built on an 800-volt architecture, delivering efficient rear-wheel-drive dynamics and modern smart interior tech.

The first-generation Leapmotor B01 is a compact electric sedan introduced in 2025 as part of the manufacturer's global B-series vehicle expansion. Built upon the LEAP 3.5 architecture, the B01 adopts a sleek four-door sedan body layout designed with aerodynamic efficiency and a balanced weight distribution in mind. The powertrain configuration places a single permanent magnet electric motor on the rear axle to drive the rear wheels through a single-speed reduction gear transmission. Motor outputs range across trims from 100 kW (136 hp) to 160 kW (218 hp), powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with capacities scaling from 43.9 kWh up to 69.7 kWh. Top specifications leverage an 800-volt high-voltage system capable of ultra-fast DC charging and a driving range reaching 670 km on the CLTC scale. The cabin incorporates a 14.6-inch touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a fully digital instrument display, and premium trim materials. Interior and safety features include an optional LiDAR-enabled driver assistance suite, panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, and automated parking features. The B01 is manufactured in China and distributed in international and domestic markets.
