The compact body-on-frame Kia Retona SUV (RT) was produced from 1998 to 2003. Its name stood for Return to Nature. Originally developed by Asia Motors based on the military KM131 jeep, it featured a heavy-duty frame, part-time 4WD with a low-range transfer case, and a live rear axle.
