The first generation KAMAZ-65657 is built on the advanced K5 platform, marking a significant evolutionary step over the manufacturer's classic cab-over models. The high-strength steel frame is specifically reinforced to handle the dynamic and static stress exerted by high-reach aerial platforms and heavy cargo cranes. The chassis is offered in multiple wheelbase configurations, including a 4550 mm variant tailored for mounting specialized aerial lifts reaching heights of up to 54 meters.

The powertrain features an inline-six Euro 5 compliant KAMAZ-910 diesel engine producing from 390 hp up to 450 hp, paired with a 12-speed automated transmission. The spacious K5 cab sits on an air suspension system and provides modern ergonomics, intuitive digital instrumentation, a wide sleeping berth, and improved visibility, significantly enhancing working conditions during complex industrial operations.
