The first generation Jetour Traveller 7 debuted in autumn 2026 as a five-door unibody SUV. It features an independent suspension setup with front MacPherson struts and a rear multi-link arrangement. The exterior styling draws inspiration from rugged utility vehicles, highlighted by circular LED daytime running lights connected via an illuminated light strip, a ground clearance of 220 mm, an approach angle of 27 degrees, and a departure angle of 30 degrees.

The powertrain range begins with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 184 hp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. A more capable 2.0-liter turbo unit delivers 254 hp and comes equipped with an all-wheel-drive system with dual differential locks, offered with either a seven-speed dual-clutch or an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Additionally, the C-DM plug-in hybrid combines a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor for a total output of 509 hp.

Inside, the cabin features a modern layout with a large central infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charging, and a rearview camera system. With its generous approach and departure angles, robust chassis calibration, and electronic traction management, the first-generation Traveller 7 balances urban practicality with genuine off-pavement capability.
