The Hyundai ix55 (EN chassis) was marketed across Europe and Russia from 2008 to 2012 as the European badged counterpart to the Hyundai Veracruz. Measuring 4.84 meters in length, the ix55 featured standard 7-passenger seating, plush leather upholstery, and acoustic cabin dampening.

Power was supplied by a 3.8-liter Lambda V6 petrol engine (264 hp) and an advanced 3.0-liter S-Line V6 CRDi turbodiesel (239–250 hp). Both engines mated to a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission and an electronically managed all-wheel-drive system.
