The second-generation Hyundai H-1 (TQ chassis, marketed as the Grand Starex in Korea) debuted in 2007. Featuring a significantly expanded body structure with dual side sliding doors, the TQ was produced in 8- to 12-seater passenger MPV configurations and commercial Cargo van formats. Built on a rear-wheel-drive layout, select markets later received a Part-Time 4WD system.

Powertrains centered around the 2.5-liter A-series CRDi turbodiesel engine producing up to 170 hp, along with a 2.4-liter Theta petrol engine. A major 2017 facelift (Urban trim) replaced the front end with horizontal halogen/LED headlights, a cascading chrome grille, and a luxury-grade dashboard.
